Making a grid..

I have a game idea that is played on a 4x4 grid (ie: 16 squares).

Is there a way to make a something in game or do I just need to make a background of a grid and make some colored squares as sprites to fill in the grid?

There is a "Snap to Grid" function.

Unless you mean an actual grid like on grid paper.

If that is the case than you should just size up a square to how to want and make 16 of the squares, check the size in paint and make your window in Construct 2 to that size.

Yeah I was thinking of a game that is based on a grid.. I was hoping it would be possible to make a grid right in Construct 2 without me drawing in a paint program first and then importing it.
