Help with Camera Movement

Hey everyone! I saw this example capx from a fellow forum user. Unfortunately I can't remember who uploaded it to ask him/her for help. Anyways, my problem is that the camera will start to move too soon. I want to be able to jump a lot higher before the camera starts adjusting to my new position.

I have already edited both variables but neither of them have given me the desired effect.

Well, would be nice to have a capx to grab, but it looks like the problem is the distance<4 statement. Try increasing it, or, if you don't need a deadspace, just delete that second distance test and use an else. Also, if you are trying to do a camera, have you taken a look at Magicam by linkman2004?:

Or, if you want some lag in the camera's response, you could only run the distance events every 0.x secs?

I want it to wait until my player is higher up on the screen before it moves. Not slow the movement down.
