How do I go back to main layout keeping animation?

Hello, in my game, when I press the "go back to main menu" button at the pause menu, I go back to the main menu layout. The problem is: It does not run sprites' animations, just movements. How can I fix it? Oh, and by the way, reset layout did not work...

after rereading this i think i know your issue you mention a pause menu in your event to change/reset layout did you reset you timescale to 1 if not that's your problem as that doesn't change on layout change
