  • Hey. dl.dropbox.com/u/45478479/APA/APA.html here's my game I made, there's bugs and stuff, but it was just a learning experience.

Right, the point though! For some reason, Firefox... Runs it weird. And slow. Google Chrome works perfectly though. Haven't tested IE. IE is just... gross.

  • If you don't post the capx, we won't be able to help you.

  • Oh haha. Yeah! Totally. Sorry. Actually posted the wrong link! dl.dropbox.com/u/45478479/APA/APA.capx

  • I love his jump noise

  • Haha. Thanks. My favourite are my bees. XD

  • Try Construct 3

  • haha, the bees are disturbing. Also the sound when you win 'ah.'

  • The winning sound is my favorite, 'cause I keep forgetting it's there. <img src="smileys/smiley17.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • The bee's are disturbing!? How!! :P I thought they were pretty boss. I'm really happy with their animation.

  • Runs just fine in Firefox here, except you might want to enable 'Pixel rounding' in project properties to prevent the seams on the tiles.

  • Still doesn't for me. Although Pixel Rounding fixed a few things. But I had an idea to preload everything if using firefox, what would be the way to pull someones browser? I'm thinking a global Variable that somehow sets itself depending on the browser used. But what would that be? string(somethingsomething)?

  • The browser object let you have a "User agent" expression which represent the type of browser the user is using.

I don't know what you mean by weird (unless maybe some strange things in the collisions masks from time to time) by it is far from slow for me.

Are you using FireFox 7.0.1 ? Are your graphic cards drivers up to date ?

  • Oh wow... I'm using 3.6 haha. WELL THAT'S PROBABLY MY ISSUE. Haha, thanks guys. Sorry.

  • Use chrome not firefox yay. <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> <img src="smileys/smiley10.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> <img src="smileys/smiley10.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> <img src="smileys/smiley10.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> <img src="smileys/smiley10.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> <img src="smileys/smiley10.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • I do use chrome, it's other people that were using firefox. I've used chrome since it was very first available :P
