I uploaded the above game to show my friends what I made in school, but most of my friends use mobile devices, so I wanted to try and make it mobile friendly. I tried adding the touch object and just did the same with that that I did with the keyboard object, but it wasn't working on mobile still.

Can anyone give me suggestions?

You shoul post the capx so we can see what you did. Or at least take a screenshot of your control events.

Without seeing it...

Touch > is touching object - Left sprite > simulate pressing left.

Touch > is touching object - Right sprite > simulate pressing right.
