Flashlight easily

i need to know how i can make game (sidescroll) where player has flashlight. There is completely dark and you see nothing without it.

There's a 'Lighting" example (do File/New and type 'lighting' in the search box) if you haven't already seen it. Might get you started.

There are several ways.

The "Shadow Caster" behavior should be helpful. You might also check the "Ambient Light"-Example included with the installer.
