How do I do a few things?

Hey I'm new to Construct 2 and I'm learning it for one of my final projects at university.

I'm creating basic mechanics for characters I have designed and I'm doing a push/pull mechanic.

I was just wondering how would I do this? I'm also unsure how to change keyboard settings such as z meaning pull etc...

Any help would be appreciated thank you

As to the push/pull physics, the physics behavior might be what you are looking for, even though I don't personally know how it works : https://www.scirra.com/manual/98/physics

There are a few demonstrator games made with it and included in Construct (File > New > select a demo or search with the keyword "physics").

I managed to figure the pull mechanic but now everytime I pull the object it doesn't stay on the ground :/

It's really frustrating

If you want a top view, you can use the bullet behavior with a negative acceleration.

Check my capx (left click to push the ball in the cursor -> ball direction, right click to pull in the opposite direction)
