Cutscenes & Fading between layouts

How would I go about creating video cutscenes between level transitions?

I need this....

Few ways I can think are ,

One big sprite same as screen size

draw the animation frame by frame using any tools and export it to construct

and play it in the sprite animation

or

Create the animation and export it as video

Using third party "video" plugin and play it.
