Creating a timeline in a construct 2 app

Hi I'm creating a mobile magazine with construct 2 the app will run on phonegap.

this is the workflow of the app.

1)Frontpage

2)time line

what would be the best way to create a timeline (the same way that facebook or Twitter show their post).

what would be the best way to update the timeline? store an xml or json in the local webstorage and then parsing it?

any advice or example will be appreciated

Well, I don't think C2 is the best way to do this, but you could use an array if it's not too much info, otherwise an XML would be best, as you can save the data externally, or is my understanding that you can.
