I need help creating swipe based movement for my mobile game,I have hit a brick wall when it comes to makingthis hhappen and I was wondering if i could get a hand.

Search for swipe on the forums here. There are a few threads that go over it, once you have the swipe detection down it's just a matter of tying actions to them. The touch object has properties for detecting touch start, touch end, you can detect how many pixels and in what direction the action happened between them.
