How do I make car+jetpack behavior ?

hi all...sometimes when U work hours in fron of the monitor..u don't see anymore simple solutions... I made a very tricky coding...that I don't like... what would U do if U have a tank...that when U press W anables jetpack and flies... ? I have the platformbeh. + 8direction behav.... after pressin W it diables platform and enables 8direction...on landed opsite...but it is not smooth as I wish... do u know another option that combines platform+floating players ???

I guess using the platform and 8 direction behaviour is the easiest way to achieve what you want, but you can also try to use the vector y to simulate the flight, like i did in my game.
