How do I build my apk, now that cocoon.io and phonegap aren't working?

I can't find any decent monaca.io tutorials either, showing how sign and add admob.

Can someone please show me how to build apk, in October 2018?

Also, if you have C3 license, you can use C3 build service, even for C2 projects.

Well, it's $132 Canadian for a c3 license.

Why do you think it's a bad idea to buy a c3 license?

I've tried this tut, but my build failed (i think it keeps saying, jkd 8.1 not recognized, even though I downloaded it just before trying to build with Cordova):

Node.js and Java are both installed.

2. Use an actively supported third-party build service like PhoneGap Build.
3. Use the Cordova CLI. This is a free manual build tool that works offline. (This option is more appropriate for advanced users.)

Ashley, just to be on the sure side... Can you let me know... Is c3 currently facing the same build issues, as Cocoon and Phonegap? Can you assure me it will work, lol?

This plugin is only applicable for versions of cordova-android greater than 4.0. If you have a previous platform version, you do *not* need this plugin since the whitelist will be built in.

Will this same error show up on c3 builds as well?

I've not heard of that happening with our build service. You should contact PhoneGap Build for support with build issues on their service.
