Game with complete Source-Code (Construct 3 / .c3p) + HTML5 Exported.
  • Could anyone vaguely or in detail explain what

"JavaScript Exception (Line: 33582) Tag: 'requestAnimationFrame'): TypeError: 'undefined' is not a function (evaluating 'this.body.GetLocalCenter()')"

    could mean?

It's an error I'm getting from my game in CocoonJS debug, my whole game freezes and this is what it shows me in the console.. The game works fine in Chrome, so It's definitely related to CocoonJS, but at the same time, what could I be doing in Construct 2 that is causing this?

    Please help!!

  • Are you using the latest beta by any chance? There's a known bug with animated physics objects - does that sound like it explains the issue?

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • thehen I am using the latest beta, and I have animated physics objects. God damn it, you may have just solved my problem. I'll try it out now. I love you for the help!

  • thehen Yes that solved it, thank you very much. I did see those bug reports, but I didn't think much of it because my object isn't exactly animated, it's rotating! Thank you!

  • I started getting errors, and/or the inability to start my zipfile, or even compiled/signed apk file.

Seems to have started directly after I introduced an animation.

I have the latest beta, which is a few iterations beyond the above posts.

Any tips? Or direction where I can have a programmer start looking for the problem?

    Thanks Scirra Family.

  • I can't comment on the other issues, but I am sharing the same problem as Squirrely1 on not even being able to start my zipfile after compiling is complete. Basically the app seems to hang forever.

I am able to preview over LAN through CocoonJS, but I'm honestly not even sure I want to use Cocoon at the moment because of the inability to letterbox scale.
