accelerometer(?) - is there a possibility to control via tilting the phone sideways

Is it tested and it works?

Yes it is very much possible, after hrs of pulling my hair out ive finally figured out how to achieve it. Ive tested it on iPad 1st gen and iPhone 4.

Well i try on phone with android ;s when i rotate phone my layout skip 90 degrees

That's your problem, It doesn't work on Android devices. I have only tested it on iPad and iPhone and it works fine. Ill try and look into it for Android devices.

If someone uploads the HTML onto dropbox i'll be happy to test on a iphone 3Gs and 4S

Ok:

It moves, But its kinda weird. the ball moves but i think its the gyroscope not the accelerometer. It works in the sense if i move my phone in a 360 degree movement the ball follows that pattern, i oppose to the accelerometer, Where if i tilt the phone left, the ball would move left and vice versa with right up and down :)

they both move on the 3gs(Have not tested with 4s yet) But its not easy to control, I dont get it.. Second link was better but first link as the first link i kept on moving off the screen...

Hi guys,

I used Accelerometer events because Gyroscope events don't work on the iPad 1st gen where I begun testing but I think they work on iPhone 4 and iPad 2.

Like I said this is a very basic example and it is far from perfect plus its not working on all mobile and tablet devices.

Any one already create working gyroscope or accelerometer for android?

I will probably.
