  • Hi guys

My turn to make a few suggestions to the already implemented features! <img src="smileys/smiley36.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

I just released a game made in C2 and along its development I ran into a few annoyances. Here's my suggestions:

1- Hand Cursor: Is there a way for me to change the cursor to that familiar link-clicking hand? If not, that should be an option when I hover the mouse over some object... Don't know what could be the best way to do it (behavior? system option?)

2- Image editor coordinates: I would love to see the coordinates when moving the hotspot or the collision polygon vertices around. In addition, being able to type them would be PERFECT.

  • Your suggestions have been appended to my rather long todo list!

  • Thanks Ashley!

    oh and:

3- Add the "Original Width / Height" to the sprite's size parameters. This one is SO useful!

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • And how about virtual on-screen gamepad object. Pretty useful for mobile game publishing

  • jourdan, that's pretty straightforward to do using Sprites and the Touch object, isn't it? Is a separate object really necessary?

  • it's not an essential, but it could be useful <img src="smileys/smiley20.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • jourdan

This could easily be done once and copy/pasted to all your other games.

You should try making one, and maybe even post it for everybody in the community!

Do you want to make a d-pad or an analog virtual joystick?

I could try making one later :D

  • Hmm in that case, i'll post it on here later, maybe tomorrow. My only consideration is that it will make my game developing progress much faster.

  • Agree to suggestion #2, would be very useful for collision polygons co-ords <img src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> I was considering suggesting this myself <img src="smileys/smiley16.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • +1 for suggestion #2 - "see the coordinates when moving the hotspot or the collision polygon vertices around. In addition, being able to type them would be PERFECT. "
