Best car suspension with spring effect and very cool terrain generation.
  • Hello to all who visit this post, I have a exiting announcement and that is my creation of a tile based destructible environment! (Like Minecraft)

    CAPX Download=====> <{[ https://drive.google.com/uc?export=down ... 3NmLWlFX0k ]}>

I made a post a few weeks ago talking about a tile based destructible environment and I got very little feed back so ever since than I have been working on a destructible terrain of my own.

This system is very flexible and can easily be adopted to other games.

The code itself is fairly simple but is works very well and you can normally keep up a descent frame rate.

If anyone wants to put this in there game than please feel free to do so. (But if you do put it into your games please tell me about because I would love to see what you can make!)

I hope you all have fun with this system and maybe some of you found it helpful.

    VVV Controls VVV

    Arrow Keys = Move

    Left Click = Damage Blocks

    Right Click = Place Blocks

  • Pretty legit!

I'm currently trying to do a top-down shooter/survival/crafting/mining type of game.

(Really ambitious, considering that I'm only a free-edition user with only the basics and some "Pong" kind of game.)

I've been running into problems with "mining", aka couldn't think of a way to interact with the Tilemap, and I'm hoping to glean some sort of info that will help with my game.

    Thanks for the post!

I am glad you like it and I hope your "top-down shooter/survival/crafting/mining" game goes well!

  • Thank you for this example.

  • Thank you! I was looking for this for an idea I have.

  • I'm glad you enjoyed it! I've been meaning to make a better version...

  • angryscientist Apologies for the year-old necro, but I'm really interested in seeing how this works! The link you provided in the post seems to be dead (it's giving me a "Bad Request: Error 400" message), if you could provide another link it would be lovely.
