Casino? money? who knows? but the target is the same!

    DUTOIT

hummmmm c2 is not only one technology on which i am working

smart people like you done very good job , so my problems solved by RND.

After reading the whole topic , i really hate that generalhak guy...

) i have a galaxy s2, galaxy tab one and LG g2 , and i have 3 of my games made by construct2 , run very very smooth on all my device. All of them some kind of Fighting game, auto runner game, platform game ... And i spend 2 year to learn, and make game.

Let's me take a simple example... If you're a pro gamer, really good at Counter strike game, and you own a cheapest mouse and keyboard in the world, you still can defeat allmost other player.

And if you're noob, you own a greatest mouse and keyboard, you still a loser.

I'm sure that you'll learn more and more to make a great game by C2 , or with unity 3d etc... But not just one month.

why are people being bullies? maybe this community IS like clickteam after all. Either way, some of the replies here don't leave a good impression on me. >.<

This community is nothing like clickteam. The underlying issue with this thread and countless other threads like this one, is that uneducated, new users with big dreams try the software (maybe spending 30 hours) and fail to create the blockbuster game. They then come and attack the software.

This is a very helpful community, but don't come guns blazing as tho OP did. Because you will meet with resistance.

Trust me, the guys in this topic are very very helpful. They would have ensured that OP got his game running at 60fps, but he wasn't interested. Some folks even PM'd him trying to help. He just wasn't interested.

What is important to remember. We don't have to help anyone, and we also get tired of abusive people who demand help. We help because we strive to be a open, friendly community.

In this case, the OP wasn't willing to meet anybody halfway, he just wanted to flame.

But does that really make it okay to flame him back? is that what so called "resistance" is?

I am sorry if I didn't read the whole topic or know about the PMs. but the very first reply to him was "ugh. not another one of these". very unhelpful. If construct doesn't run well for him, and it does run okay for others, he therefore had a different experience, there is probably a reason why, such as what type of phone he has. SOME people talked about that but other people just blew him off right off the bat.

As I said, actions speak louder than words. Clickteam said they were a friendly community, but their actions proved they were not. Many communities have claimed that they will be more friendly than the other ones I had a bad experience with, but weren't. So that statement means absolutely NOTHING to me until I can see that actions show it.

I guess we can discuss this in greater depth once you've spent a couple months helping folks. Because no matter what I answer, we are looking at this from a different perspective.

And you think that justifies bullying someone or blowing them off without giving them a chance?

"I am sorry if I didn't read the whole topic" - that's another issue with "new" people. They start conversation without any knowledge what it is about.

And you think that justifies bullying someone or blowing them off without giving them a chance?

Reported! You trying to pick a fight. And I am not interested in getting into a fight

Understand. We don't owe anybody anything. That includes the time it takes to help someone. The fact you get help is a gift.

    Treat it as such.

Yup, when I got help I am very grateful. When I did not get help, I am fine with it. People have busy lives and we're mostly working on our own games as well.

If you want help, the best approach is not to post a tirade about how bad C2 is. Ask for advice instead. Many here often are more than willing to chip in.

I wasn't trying to pick a fight. The people who replied on the first page should have either responded constructively or not at all. I am trying to be as rational as possible.

Closing because the subject has far drifted from the original topic.

The OP wasn't looking for help anyway, he was just looking for a place to rant.

When he was offered help, he declined. End of discussion.

Some people vented their frustration, that was clumsy on their part, yet understandable.

This type of discussion blossom about once a month and always end up in the same way, the people ranting just designed their program wrong in the first place/have unrealistic expectations.

C2 is not a miracle solution, it requires efforts and getting used to it.

The community provides help to a certain degree, but newcomers must also make their part in being open minded, friendly as well and searching first for the correct ways of using the software or just OK with the fact that they do things wrong out of lack of knowledge.
