Problem with relase 161 SOLVED

when i open old/new project and when i go to game events and try edit something my c2 freezes

I just installed and tried. I don't have this issue. Mine works perfectly. Win 7 64bit. Perhaps open bug report in forum?

Same here, no problems with r161 on win 7 64 sp1.

Ashley any ideas what I or You mus do to prevent this problem?

No issues here on 64bit. Perhaps it's a 32bit issue.

Zero problems here, I'm also running 64bit. I'll try on a 32bit machine and report back.

Just tried it... works fine. Perhaps update your video card drivers? I even tried the same template you attempted.

Are you sure you're using Windows 7? You have a "start" button, instead of an orb... just making sure.

Why do you have a button called "Start" instead of a round orb?

Perhaps your video card can't support "Aero" windows features, which would default you to the old "start" button. And if that's the case, then it could also be the cause to your construct crashing.

If you're positive your video card drivers are up to date, why not try setting your settings back to default, and see if that works? Perhaps there is a bug in the UI which causes the new version to crash with the old settings?

Graphics card drivers? i chceck when i install c2 r161 ane c2 say i have updated drivers

As mentioned, try to uninstall, download again and re-install the version.

For card drivers, according to your graphic cards it might be worth checking directly on the vendors website if newer drivers are available.

Also, it might be worth rebooting your computer, it looks like there was a Windows update those days.
