Yeah, I'm aware it's probably been asked before, or that the information is available somewhere, but I've been unable to find it.

I see Construct 2 as a WYSIWYG editor. But what languages lie under the GUI? Obviously it's used to make HTML5 games, so... HTML5, CSS3, and JS? Frameworks? Enlighten me.

The editor is made in c++ with OpenGL to draw stuff. JavaScript is also used to for the plugins to communicate with the editor. When you run or export your project it's all html5 and JavaScript.

For physics, it uses Box2D asm.js.
