  • Hi!

I just have a little question

Previously the licence cost 59 (more or less) and now it's 99

Is it the new definitive price ?

because it's a little bit expensive

    Sorry for my bad english

  • Yes, the price has went up since r100, with the major update, many new features such as the EXE exporter as well as dropped experimental label from AppMobi and directCanvas, meaning you can export your game to iOS and Android. Also in Scirra's defense, there were many warnings, the earliest being about a month or more prior to the increase!

    EDIT:

    First Warning back in July

    Second Warning during Mid August

  • Ok thanks

I begin my game in august so infortunately i didn't see the warnings

For the moment it's too expensive for me maybe later

    PS: i loved your game

  • Scirra could easily be charging $500/year for their engine (*cough* gamesalad *cough*)

Their price is certainly more than fair. I hope you can raise the money to buy this excellent piece of software!

  • Yes i agree it's more than fair but i'm a student and for the moment i can buy it

But as soon as i can i'll upgrate my version

  • Awesome, C2 is still the cheapest HTML5 game engine I can find.

I bought it only after winning competition money with a game I made with C2, if you are good at what you do (with C2) you can find ways to earn the money back!

  • I got r95 license so could I still use this for newest version...??

  • Try Construct 3

  • Yes, you can hoanganh17, the license also includes all future updates!

  • Skip a few pizzas and you've got yourself a license. ;)

  • Skip a few pizzas and you've got yourself a license. ;)

Wise words, but skip cinemas instead and stay home coding while eating all the pizza you need!! If John Carmack skipped pizzas, he would have never finished coding Quake, so pizza is game developers' bread! <img src="smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

(read "Masters of Doom" if you have no idea of what I am talking about
