IntelXDK export for Windows

I'm trying to upload my game to windows and I get this error

Validation error: The Publisher attribute of the Identity element in the app manifest doesn't match your publisher ID, which is: CN=F8987766......

I did follow Ashley's tutorial (link bellow) and I manually entered the publisher info into the app files and yet I still get this error.

I export using IntelXDK.

What am I missing?

If your using the xdk how did you follow the tutorial? if your using the xdk just verify that you put in your Publisher id correctly

IntelXDK is not for exporting to Windows, but you're following a tutorial that is for exporting Windows app. Makes no sense.

cristiart i just made a windows build with xdk dont follow any of those steps. just export a to xdk like normal then fill out all the details in the xdk and it will work correctly. but if you arnt using any cordova plugins just use the normal Windows export

volkiller730 when you export from Construct, did you export as cordova or as windows app?

cristiart, do you want a Windows app or a Android app? Intel XDK is to Android compilations.

I exported the game for android and I'm looking to do the same for windows too

If you want to export as .exe, use nw.js (Node Webkit). If you want to export as Windows Store app, follow the appropriate tutorial.
