Installing Construct 2 r221

I tried to update my current version to r221 and I get an error "The signature of this file is corrupt or invalid." What is causing this? I am using Windows 10. Thanks

Working fine on another laptop with Win 7

Build 216 working fine.

no idea. i updated normally on 221 on win 10.

try uninstalling downloading new installer and installing then.

I just said run anyway and it installs, but tested it on a few other PC's here at work. Same error.

We've had a few reports of this, but it must be something local on your system corrupting the file - either the connection or the browser or some buggy security software or something. Users who report the issue say that the torrent download works, which serves exactly the same file from the server, so I guess give that a go.

I had the same issue through IE.

Seems fine in Chrome though,

actually I downloaded via firefox and saved to a file and WIN10 smartscreen rejected the file as well.

I can force it to run anyway, but it says it's an "unknown publisher".

I too am getting error "The signature of this file is corrupt or invalid". Norton and Windows hate this file. I was going to try this program out for the first time. Based on their recommendation, I should walk away and not look back. I suggest you look at the signature on your program or I and many others will walk away.
