importing an animation to a sprite?

hello, im currently a recent user of construct 2 and im not all that informed or knowledge able when it comes to computers but I have an easy time learning this software. but that not the issue I have right now , you see im trying to save a couple of days depending on the animation im making, and am requiring some knowledge.

1. Am I able to import export whatever, a picture or animation from another software to a sprite ?

2. if so is it legal and is it possible for me to import an animation from adobe flash pro to a sprite?.

I hope I understand your questions:

1. Yes, when you use the correct format. You can use single frames or spritesheets and construct supports all common image file formats.

2. Yes, when you made the animation.

If it's your image and you have a valid license of use of the software. Then there is no legal problems.

A Flash Vector animation is not a sprite. However if Flash Animator can export a sprite sheet then there is no problem either.
