Construct 2 download

Whenever I try to download C2(r 152),after sometime,"Timeouts" and gets an error.C2 is not even resume supported.So I have to try again but still run into the same problem for eternity.Is there any resume supported C2 downloadable somewhere?

And the torrent is as slow as a snail.(It estimates 6years to download) :rofl:

What location are you trying to download from? What's your broadband speed?

There are many reasons for slow downloads, and on an initial release, everyone is hitting the servers at once. Wait a few days and maybe try again.

FYI it usually takes about 50 seconds for me to download a release, even on the day of release, so there may be other factors unrelated to Scirra' site that are affecting you.

The website always timeouts with me too, but torrent is about 40min - 60min. with 2 people sharing (prob tom and ashley) lol.

I've had issues with uk anything since the data cable got severed by a ship somewhere Egypt side, I think it was a few months back.

Yeah the torrent is often slow due to the low amount of people sharing. I also have issues with the normal download failing as well. It succeeds eventually though.

As far as I'm aware the servers are located in the US, although I maybe wrong. WHOIS says it's in USA.

Don't go for alternative, just my suggestion and what I think , that also happen with me , like for each version I use to download C2 for at least about 10 times minimum, and after that I get a C2 , for me that movement is really very enjoying and like happy movement. So I think you should try it again and again and you will make it. I have been using torrent for like last two releases and it is now going nice, I get my File in a hour without any error which I think is really nice and good.<img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

Don't give up , just try.

The C2 crashes on opening.Is this the earlier version which was reuploaded and fixed 32bit issue?

Oh crap. Sorry, that was still my original DL, and I used the 64 bit so never downloaded the 32 bit fix.

Ashley, can't you add new versions/beta's to dropbox or other. Seriously your server times out 95% of the time when download time exceeds 15min.

I actually just tried downloading beta now and it time'd out. The torrent works, but is slow because so few seeders - lol.
