Chrome Web Store auto-update failure

I have a problem with the auto-update feature in the Chrome Web store.

It works beautifully on my own server and in dropbox public folder.

But when I update the Chrome Web Store file with a new one, with just the version number updated from 0.90 to 0.91, it doesn't auto update at all.

So Ashley - could you please try it on your space shooter to see if the auto update feature is faulty for Chrome Web Store?

It's kindda a big deal, because people are gonna loose their save games if they have to dele the game and reinstall it instead.

Is this a hosted app or a packaged app?

Hi Ashley - it's just a normal packaged app. The only difference between the versions is the version number. The first is 0.90 and the second is 0.91.

If I delete the old version of the installed app and install the new one, it get's the 0.91 alright, but it doesn't work if 0.90 is installed in the first place :/. It seems like it doesn't recognize there is a new version.

It all works fine on server or dropbox.
