APP working while minimised... possible!?

Hello,

Is it possible to add feature where we could chose that our app works in background on mobile platforms while minimised?

I would like to implement some geolocation features and notifications acording to them, and some notifications according to certain date & time that user selects like a reminder.

You probably need to use cordova and add "background service plugin":

It works good under iOS, but Apple will reject the app using this plugin if you are trying to publish it to App Store. For iOS currently there is no beautiful solution for apps to run general purpose code constantly in background. You'll need a specific excuse to do that like audio streaming, GPS tracking...
