adb logcat [CocoonJS ads problem]

  • As I said many times: banner ads are not working on my CocoonJS apps

    and Ludei replies "it works on our test..." or "send info from logcat..."

    soo... finally I got my new devices and I try to use "adb" (which is Android developer tool):

    I have connected my mobile to PC,

    it is has "USB debugging connected" status,

    I run "adb shell" on PC

    but it says: waiting for device

    same with "adb logcat"

    so my PC don't see it...

    how to fix that?

  • Reading 1.4.5 update features yesterday i saw : "New CocoonJS and Ludei logos!" even now im still laughing. yeah guys you did it a major step forward...minor improvements like layout by layout for example on next update...

    Some devices require additional drivers and windows is stupid enough to not install them. Open your device manager and see if there is a device marked with a yellow exclamation sign.

  • Logcat says: No inventory found for ad unit

    MoPub shows requests from app but 0 impressions,

    but AdMob says "Inactive: AdMob has never received an ad request for your site."

  • just got reply from Ludei... they say... ask MoPub :D

    so please remember: in case of any problems with ads:

    ask Scirra > ask Ludei > ask MoPub

    now I get why professional developers don't use Construct 2

    Nothing to do with construct, construct just help you creating games(and that very well).

    If you would programm natively in html5 you would still need to export trough cooconJs or any other platform which means you would have the same problems with ads.

    PS: There are already many professionel developers... Team Notion is one of them ;)

    I know its frustrating but already some clever guys are working on support ;)

    Flurry

    As soon as he support the flurry advertising network we will have an easy life ;)

    Currently you can embeed your own javascript code which means you can manually insert ads, we are doing this actually cause there isn�t a better way right now.

    Just create a advertising zone and insert there javascript code which you can copy from many ad networks.

    and LeadBolt (because good money and fast payments)

    Smaato and flurry, didn?t found anything better.

    The best fill rate and the best money, easy to bind into c2(cause just an Iframe you have to include). Smatoo binds the power of many advertising networks into one and is also great to get costumers to your apps. I dont want to lie but I think admob is also included.

    The only bad thing is the first payout, it takes over 90 days to get it after that you get monthly payed out ;)

    Flurry is also very great cause of the much informations out that you can get the best fill and click rates but its hard to include it into c2 applications that got exported trough cocoonjs. It works fine for us trough phonegap but phonegap is just not well for games(poor performance) so we use flurry just for software apps.

    Smatoo looks nice, especially if no need to register in all used ad networks, but how to create advertising zone?

    does it only support banners?

    Net90 is painful, comparing to Net15 in LeadBolt :)

    Currently I?m on my day job so I cant have a look into smatoo for how to create a advertising zone.

    It support so many different ad formats eg floating banner and interactive ads(makes the most money ;) )

    And with the net90 youre right but this is just the first time you payout(do that as soon as possible) after that you get it every 30 days ;)
