I just host my html5 game and try to run in iPhone 6 Plus with iOS 10.1.1 but sound is not working. Also the sound working on PC with chrome and Firefox. I also tried with chrome and Firefox in the iPhone and still get the same result.

i have the same issue. When you put the app in background and then foreground again, there is no more music:

Have been struggling with the same problem, some how i add a simple button requiring user to touch the screen before events triggering the sound effect, it can play sound now. Using Ipad air 2 IOS 10.3.2

Any working solution to get audio working on ios

With C2 r244 I Export with WKWebView and Compile with plugins in XDK and the zip file I build in PhoneGap Build.

and audio is .m4a .ogg files

Tested on

iphone 5s - 10.3.3

iphone 4s - 9.3.5

and all working on android
