r80 - Image editor won't close

When creating a Tiled Background object, attempting to close the image editor will apply changes made to the object, but will not close the editor. I tried it with Sprite objects, and it works as it should, so the bug only applies to Tiled Background objects.

As far as I can tell, the bug can be recreated in a new project easily. Is anybody else having this issue?

I can confirm the problem - but with particle effects.

1.) Create new game (caproj)

2.) Add particle effects

3.) Select image - Image editor wont close.

I got this while I was trying to create a mock up of another problem im having. In the r80 release notes, the breaking change with 'set group active' isnt supposed to affect groups that are linked through event sheets is it?

(By linked I mean both event sheets have the relevant "Include Event Sheet" expression).

Confirmed - it appears to be similar if not the same bug as adding a tiled background image. Requires closing C2 via Win Task manager.

Yep, confirmed. Tried the tutorial "how to make a platform game", and image editor crashes construct r80. After three or four times, Windows applies compatibility settings, and edit image windows prevents construct from closing.

Confirmed..!! it doesn't work for particles object too...!!

I just released r80.2 which should fix this, can you confirm it's fixed there?

xsidhartax: have you installed r80.2 (and uninstalled previous versions if you had any installed) ?

It should normally be fixed.
