[r66] Check failure when changing global var

no waffles.txt at all o.o

Ok, here are my findings:

I started a new project and added a global var.

Then i applied the condition and action. No crash.

Then i opened up my existing project i was initially working on before the r66 release, followed the same steps, and it crashed.

There's no waffles.txt to be found on my desktop though. I searched my C and D drives, nothing, no waffles.

I'm getting the exact same crash when changing a global variable as I was at the beginning, nothing has changed for me.

Yea, forgot to say that it crashes at exactly the same point as the original release, following Noga's steps.

Eehh... why no waffles?! Alright, I'll try putting the file somewhere else...

Ash, try changing a global var in an old project that has been created before the r66 release.

It crashed for me when i changed the var.

But!

It didn't crash when i changed the global var in a new project created with your r66.4 build.

What gives?

Saves to Documents instead (should definitely have permission to write there), and will also prompt the location of the file so you know for sure where to look for it. Fingers crossed <img src="smileys/smiley17.gif" border="0" align="middle">

*sigh* nope, no waffles, no asking just the same crash and error message. :(

Just looked at the 'About' in C2 and it say's it was built on 6th Nov, I take it you haven't changed that part? Just in case I'm not installing the right one.

Nothing, same problem, no waffle, no prompt, did a hdd search and no waffle

Edit: lol that was with the second wrong link, 1 sec getting 3rd file, hopefully its the right one :P

No way, it works, no crash so far, still testing...
