I have tried to load an image from a URL on several different computers in C2 and even the demo of C3 and it doesn't seem to be working.

In the console it says

"Access to image has been blocked by CORS policy: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource."

1) I tried "on start"

2) I tried "On touched"

Any ideas?

Yes. I read it. It was working up until a few days ago. This is something I use on a fairly regular basis. No matter what I do, I can't get an image to load.

I tested your capx file

With NWjs works good

Chrome not work

Edge not work

Firefox not work

So, something has changed online and needs to be fixed in C2 and C3 I believe.

Our school relies heavily on this functionality for our online homework. We have built all the learning software with C2! It needs the images for much of the homework we set for the students. We are getting mixed results. About a quarter of the students are reporting no images. It has become quite a serious problem..

I hope a fix will be on the way soon!

The other students don't have images in their homework, as it is all text based for them (Higher levels)

It's most likely a server issue related to cors.

1) This used to work with the local host. But now it doesn't.

2) I have tried with many different sources of image.

3) I have tried with 2 different website hosts (my old host used to work with this but now it doesn't)

4) I have asked a couple of friends to try with their local machine and host. It doesn't work.

5) I also tried with c3 and it doesn't work.

6) The user The Mnk who kindly tried this out also had the same problem.

Okay, all solved.

I was using

"http://website.com/folder/images/picture.png"

Because the images are on my server..

Instead, I tried:

"/folder/images/picture.png"

And it works now.
