  • Problem Description

____ A concise description of your problem here: I was using a 2013 monitor and construct 2 was not working(crashing everytime opening new project). A few weeks later I decided to try construct 2 again, I had moved around and was using a old really old (dont know exact old) monitor. On the old monitor it worked fine so I decieded to get the full version. I was very happy and content with my purchase until I got back to my main setup with 2, 2013 monitors. It crashes everytime I open it on 2013 monitor (same computer)

  • Highly likely to be a graphic driver problem.

The age and type of monitor is immaterial, or there would likely be thousands of reports of problems.

I have C2 showing on a 50inch TV and a 120Hz monitor with no issue, at the same time.

  • Try Construct 3

  • I have never ever heard of any such similar issue, and considering it is basically impossible to test on your exact physical display for debugging, we can't do anything about this, so closing. As zenox suggests check your graphics drivers are up to date.
