How do I make a sprite grid of blocks?

Hello everybody!

I want to develop an educational game to study irregular verbs.

At the moment, I have a problem with the blocks, as you can see in one photo, they are not just placed in the game field...Additionally, the space between the blocks in a vertical line is meant to be as small as the space in the horizontal.

you are using block.width instead of block.height in the Y co-ord in your create-object statement

it should be SPAWNY - loopindex("Y")*(block.height +1)
