The command format is followed by my server, so the simple way is making your own server, and use official websocket plugin for client.

Well, without a tutorial or some specific tips I will not be able to do it with the time I have right now. Do you have knowledge about other chat plugin for client? One that i would be able to handle with a node server?

I am new to Construct 2 and I am looking for a very simple chat system I can run with my web host, HostGator, will this sample do what I need? Like let them type in a chat room ( I dont want a list of rooms) and send the chat between multiple people?

Thanks. Do you know of any that do not use the websockets, I just found out my host does not support them...maybe a php solution?

Maybe Ajax is enough for your case.

I know this isn't the intended function, but what does the chat plugins server-response time look like? Has anyone tried using it as a background for multi-player (for example having one client send a certain code which triggers something on the other client).
