Notes

A big change in r432 was introducing an entirely new code editor, and integrating a new code editor is a big job with a lot of complexity. After the stable release a few issues in the new code editor that we previously missed were reported, and we thought were important to patch, so we're releasing this update to correct them.

In case you missed it, the r432 release video has been included again above, and see the r432 release notes here which summarizes the main improvements in this stable release.

  • Please could you add tile rotation in the tilemap brush editor ? 🙏🙏🙏

  • Every time I want to add new scripts on the Event Sheet, the JS suddenly disappears. When clicked, it shows, but when we're done, it disappears, and nothing happens when we preview. Stucks here forever. Ashley

  • functions stopped working from r425. Hello, I have a project that I have been working on for 4 years and I migrated from construct 2 to 3 and the project is huge, with almost 12,000 optimized events, it is not feasible to change to the new type of function, what can I do?

There should not have been any change with legacy functions in this release. If there is, please file an issue and we'll take a look. Note however the legacy function feature was deprecated over 5 years ago and it may eventually be removed in future, so doing the necessary work to switch over to the new functions feature may ultimately be worth it if you still want to keep updating to new versions of Construct.
