Notes

It's a new stable release of Construct! If you're updating from the last stable release r424.2 then this update includes changes from r425, r426, r427, r428, r429, r430 and r431. Highlights include:

⭐ A new code editor based on Monaco, the same code editor as used by VS Code, with lots of useful new code editing features

⭐ The Remote Preview window is now dockable and uses a responsive layout, making it easier to leave running for longer sessions while you continue to edit the project

Tilemaps now support a new patch brush

Flowcharts now have the ability to disable outputs and set a default output

⭐ The Debugger now supports searching by UID, and includes a new 'Tweens / Timelines' measurement in the CPU profiler

⭐ Improvements for HTML layers, Video Recorder, the Project Bar, and scripting

⭐ A range of bug fixes, usability improvements and performance optimizations

⭐ New demo game 'Avalanche' and 4 other new examples

We'll be starting a new beta release cycle soon. If you'd like to help test it, try the beta release opt-in: choose Notify me about updates for beta releases in Settings. Stay tuned for more updates!
