  • hello, everyone, I am trying to upload a game I made it into the scirra arcade and I keep getting this error message

    I opened up an older game I was working on and tried uploading that but I got the same problem

    I also tried both firefox and chrome

    any suggestions?

  • so so sorry for the delayed response I am working full time right now and I only just now got a chance to give it a try I am still very new to this and I am not entirely sure I understood the code here what I did it does not seem to work where am I going wrong

  • but here is the problem if the cover sprite is behind them you still can't hurt them is it possible to say if the cover is on a layer higher than enemies and you click on the cover and enemy it won't hurt the enemy

  • hi all I am creating a game where you can hurt enemies when you click on them would it be possible to have area-specific damage like being able to shoot a limb off how would I do this maybe by spawning to other sprites that are hitboxes the same time I spawn the enemy? and pin them to the enemy but that would be tricky since I plan to scale the enemy often since I will be having them walk towards the screen so I would have to scale the hitboxes at the same time..any idea

  • hello everyone I am creating a game where you click on enemies to hurt them what the best way to create a cover system so if you click on an enemy but if there is another sprite in front it will not hurt them

  • so I get the idea of using a parameter in the function to set the global variable for squad number it is just the checking of how many enemies with that number are on screen is where I am failing

    I am reading and rereading your code and I can't make heads nor tails out of it.

    so I use pick by elevated but I can't seem to use the x command I know this is probably super basic stuff but it really is flying over my head

  • hello everyone I am creating a game where you click on enemies to damage them now I originally programmed that when you clicked on an enemy they changed their animation to a brightened version of the sprite see

    and damaged

    but the problem is I want to have multiple animations on one object is there a way to program it that if the enemy gets hit it will the find appropriate damage animations depending on which animation is playing so if I saved all my animations filename and filename_Bright so if I click on it and the animation playing is Robot_Attack_1 it will play Robot_Attack_1_Bright
