    I just wanted to share my excitement for being able to put C2 and my projects on a flash drive and take it to my college computer lab and game dev on the go!

  • briggybros Thanks, I used a cool font from the Google web font list. For the future, is there any way that a font can be downloaded or loaded like audio files and graphics?

  • I installed a new font and it appears in the Construct Editor, but when I preview my game in Chrome the font is replaced with the default font for text objects.

  • I would recommend uploading your game to various flash gaming portals like Newgrounds or Kongregate with a link to your Play Store/ App Store page within the game. These sites will get you thousands of plays! You can also send in your game to the apps that track free apps of the day like "Appoday" or "Appsgonefree" and see if they will feature your game.

  • Looks awesome, I like the ambiance and the charming visuals as well as the simple premise. You should put this on Apple's App Store!

  • My first marketable game with Construct 2 is complete and I'm just tweaking some of the UI, however I've been having trouble trying to load a font into Construct 2 via the Sprite Font plugin. I'm trying to load the numbers from the well-renowned Kenney's Platformer Pack, has anybody used the Sprite Font plugin or Kenney's fonts before? I uploaded some of the custom number fonts as an example, could it be because the the numbers are individual sprites and not together?

  • Thanks! I've never even heard of the .Bbox function or 9patch, just shows how much I still have to learn about Construct 2.

    I don't think the grass is destroying like the ground is though, the ends can be seen on the left of the screen. Maybe because it's still pinned to the original position of the ground before it's destroyed?

  • TiAm That's exactly what I've been trying to do, thank you! I implemented your code but it isn't working with the procedural generated platforms. I attached the .capx if you wanted to take a look.
