This is cool as hell, like additive blending but working the other way around with brightness. Something I expected subtract to do years ago when I first learned about it all.
I don't understand how this works because it doesn't seem to work on a percentage base. Like some sprites don't start getting trimmed until I get to 10%. Then in some cases "bottom" trims the right side of the object like the angle of the image is rotated 90 degrees.
Normalized is basically unusable and I don't know why it even exists. Regular makes Z units 1:1 with X and Y. I got really annoyed when I didn't know this until later and had to go back and redo the sizes of everything.
lmao I actually requested this feature on the suggestions platform a long time ago. Thank you for doing it.
Thank you for reverting back to what C2 did of opening a project anyway even if certain files were missing.
You can create a function that uses the replace() expression on the tiles as a JSON. That's what I do until something gets added.
Yeah it crashes C3 when I try to use it at all.
Adding randomization to tiled backgrounds that can then be applied to a 3D shape is one of the best graphics features toward making C3 able to do full first person games without needing enormous textures.
It's impressive that C3 events being interpreted by JS are almost as fast as a C++ compiler benchmark. Hopefully you continue to find ways to improve performance.
Yo this is really cool. Nice work.
I like how you frequently add features that are a better version of what we've had to do all along like copy picked.
I know it's extremely early beta, so my comments might be useless. My thoughts are that I can't immediately tell a difference between it and C3 by making a new blank project, which I'm sure will inevitably change a lot.
The only thing I can think of is you likely will want to make its subscription model or whatever you go with fairly cheaper than C3 because I could also use C3 as an animation tool by just recording what I made with something like OBS.
Good luck on whatever it is you go with. C3 really turned out great so far despite some really rough patches.
It causes r276.2 C3 to instantly crash when opened where safe mode is needed to uninstall it.
It's just a copy of the C3 dark theme. This has to be a troll so don't waste time downloading this.
I thought this was going to be a great solution for being able to trigger enemies to have unique death and hurt events until I put it in and having 84 instances that don't do anything nor even use the behavior ACEs makes my behavior CPU use go up by 20%. I guess I'll have to just go back to using functions despite I don't like having to make a function for every single object type for this kind of thing.
