You can scroll to a position and have that position be lerp to the object.
Did you try destroying the snowball when it hits something?

Oh, sorry for not responding, and yea. Because you are shooting a projectile you wont really need to raycast. You just make a portal where it collides. The way you have it set up should work.
You should combine those. So that its 'Is Jumping' or 'Is falling'.

Im guessing you're using the platform behavior? There is a condition for it. 'Is Jumping' and 'Is Falling'.
Menu -> Project -> Save As -> Save as Single File
