    i will begin , heres the current version of my starting project called dimensions. Its a platformer where you have to find pieces of a portal and spawn it with F .

    i am really enjoying the community here you helped me very much but i got another question about the following problem.

    i have a collsion poly set like in this screenshot

    But the sprite is getting stuck like in this image often

  • i still wonder how and where c2 saves the games state when i use the SYSTEM-SAVE event..

    i would like to see .sav or even .ini files wich i can mod to make it fit for my games type..

  • Hellows i paused my first game and started a new one more retro like ..

    i want to create a mix of knytt stories and portal. Maybe a mix of their designs idk yet. I already started some kind of prototype and i really need some reviews if this project is on a right way. I made some tutorial elements to let the player know how it works.

    it has no real story yet but this is only a pre alpha :P

    whatever, the controls are :

    F1 = Enable Fullscreen

    F2 = Close Fullscreen

    ESC = Pause

    WASD movement

    you can double jump from beginning and have to collect more attributes in the game. (knytt like)

    the design is based on portal 1 and even the title (Captivity) .

    Just let me know how you think about the future :)

  • i dont want to code a plugin, i want to be able to write a codeline and see what it does after pressing F5 .

    eg :

    me.button1.clicked = layout.restart("layout1");

    or something like that.

    but the sdk is a good thing too

  • Hello you devs ,

    i was wondering if it could be possible to get a chance to write own scripts

    for your games like in that game dev software noone is allowed to name^^

    this feature would combine a beginner friendly engine with drag n drop game development and giving advanced users a chance to get their handy deeper in code and controling things a bit more on their own way :)

    i would like to see a option in the preferences to switch between easy and advanced mode or to attach scripts ( maybe .c2 files :p ) to the projec and code some functions :)

    just a idea :)

  • how can i make my application hide the windows mouse cursor while my application is on focus (i made fullscreen with the browser plugin)

  • How do i..

    a simple menu with 3 options wich can be selected and executed with the arrow keys ?

    i tried this :

    give them a instance variable = isSelected

    on start of layout : text 1 set isSelected to 1

    FAILED because idk how to check for instance variables...
