  • hello,

    i just built my app with the intel XDK using the intel export option in c2 .

    The intel Xdk hasent shown any errors at all while building. I installed the app on my phone but when i open it i get a screen that tells me the URL :localhost:58888/ blabla is not available .

    Any ideas`?

  • Hi,

    i am currently thinking about a way to share a games files in type of a .exe version to beta testers.

    Also i dont want them to share leak leech or whatever the game.

    It would be nice if there would be a plugin that allowes me to generate keys for the beta testers , or a Hardware ID protection so only the person wich has entered his ID into my database could start the game.

    If theres anything else please discuss.

    i bought the version 9 and X10 ages ago . you can have my serial codes if you really want to use it

    i experienced a strange "LAG" of the sprite when walking to LEFT in my example.

    To see what i mean just walk to right for about 3 Seconds and then 3 seconds to left .. if not shown up yet repeat please.

    How can i remove this?

  • I'd say the absolute easiest way would be to have the control groups disabled by default, then run an event on startup that goes something like this:

    Text > Set Text ("3")

    Wait 1 second

    Text > Set Text ("2")

    Wait 1 second

    Text > Set Text ("1")

    Wait 1 second

    Text > Destroy

    Set control groups enabled

    Not elegant by any means, but totally functional.

    hmm yeah this might be a more elegant way than i posted

  • Way 1 =

    Use the PAUSE plugin to set your entire game to pause.

    Then Create a label (text) in the middle of the screen , (1. use one text and set its visibility 2.create a text)

    then just use a global variable to hold the integer. then :

    On start of layout -> Create Label - Set visible TRUE

    Then just -> Every 1 Second -> subscract 1 from the global variable.

    The last thing you need is a event for refreshing the text when it gets 1 less.

    So if the global variable == 0 -> Disable pause -> make text invisible.

    Efery Tick -> Set TEXT to &globalVariable

    oh and i forgot you also need
