    in my profile it says I joined 22 days ago (some time in May this year) but below that it says I've been active for 99 days in a row? Why is that?

    A small bug report: When I chose "Z X arrows" and play it works fine, then in the second level still fine.... but I lost all lives and the game started again in level ONE, but now X didn't FIRE, Z still activated sheilds but had to press LMB to FIRE.

    I'm really impressed with the amount of work you've put into this. Keep it up.

  • Probably my last update for this game,

    • added some sounds - coin, death, menu PLAY button
    • fixed the game logic so that the coin only spawns ONCE rather than over time continuously

    I took mekonbekon's advice. Here's what I've changed:

    • collect the new coin object to gain points (rather than auto over time)
    • new logo and credits layout (there's a link to my short film)
    • coin has spinning animation
    • player has death animation (WIP)
    • improved hit boxes for buttons etc.

    Hopefully add sounds in the next version and then move on to another project.

  • I quite like the point n click gameplay here, but I think the "Rocks=death" thing is bad idea... maybe it could be a chasm or lava, but killing the player for touching the wall is not a good game mechanic.

    Also this:

    This is not fun for a player to look at. I don't think you need to tell the player everything all at once.

    Most players enjoy figuring things out for themselves.

    Anyway, sorry for the negatives. I wish you all the best for your game and future games

  • Hi guys, just published my first game on Construct 2.

    Its very simple but it works. Simply hold the LMB to move the ball and avoid the spikes. I've been learning Construct 2 through Udemy. Managed to get a bunch of tutorials very cheaply during a sale.

    Hopefully be publishing more games in the near future.
