  • I would create a variable that holds the position of the touch coordinates. Then, use the move towards position or move at an angle event to create movement. Compare your position with the touch coordinates to see if you've reached the limit of the move.

  • Have you tried using pathfinding? You could just set the objects position if its location is wrong.

  • Does your sprite use the platformer behavior?

  • You could use line of sight to target instead of turret. That way you can just bypass the turret behavior. Use line of sight to find a target and then set the angle to the target angle. Then if you don't have anything in sight, you can reset the bows angle.

  • Try Construct 3

  • You could check if the turret has anything to shoot with the turret hasTarget event. like this,

    If Not hasTarget >> bow.angle = 0;

  • The way I did this was to check if the sprite in question is moving (Compare Speed). Then, every set amount of seconds, create a sprite object on the back of your sprite. After the trail sprite is created, create a loop event that lowers the trails opacity. When the opacity equals 0, destroy the trail sprite.

  • Is the red pointer at the bottom which animation you're currently playing? It's difficult to tell when the player actually changes animation because he's so small.
