But what exactly does this thread mean to accomplish?

Are you asked about how you should help promote Construct? or saying you are already pro-active in promoting Construct..?

I don't deny that a portfolio is essential for any designer.

But I don't believe that doing every freelance job that comes towards you will let you charge people more.

Quality is always superior to quantity and Variety is vital.

Personal works are better additions to portfolios in a lot of cases.

So to add on to your comparison of food to jobs.

Eating well helps you become popular and charge more.

I really love how simple the tasks are.

Will the follower be moving at the exact same pace as the followed?

Will there be a delay, or a certain distance between them before he starts following?

So the standard progress bar will still be used to load the loader layout, and from then on the loader layout will be used to preload the rest of your game amirite?

-A shortcut to create blank event

I often use 'b' to create a blank sub event and then drag it back.. when really I just want a normal non-sub blank event. E creates an event+condition, but often, I just need the blank event space to copy, paste, and modify from other events..

To create another level, I have to do this whole procedure of duplicating, setting active layer, setting event sheet, re-enabling snap to grid, and resetting all my layer visible/locked settings.

Word.

-Ability to ctrl+v paste actions directly where the yellow highlight is amongst other actions. Instead of at the bottom. Same for conditions.

SUPER WORD.

This is the major slowdown in my development time when it comes to my longer events for cutscenes, deaths etc.

It's good that its improved even if not pass Chrome.

I'm not a very technically inclined guy, but WebGL and HTML5 improvements could never be a bad thing ;)
