  • Hi oosyrag, Thanks for your reply. Perhaps this will make it more clear. When the bullet hit the first turret a hidden text

"1 x 1 = 1" must be visible, second turret "1 x 2 = 2"............. Action > Text > Set visible - let all the text appear with the first bullet hit, that is not what I want. The text must be visible only on a hit of the specific turret. I managed to work around my problem with Opacity & a Timer but that means I can only show one turret at a time on the screen when my Window is set to 454, 280. Hope this makes more sense.

  • I have a turret that I copied i.e. instances (I believe). When bullet collides with turret I want text 1 x 1 to appear and on separate collision next turret 1 x 2 and so on. How do I do that? Thanks.

  • I haven't saved my hard work, power failure! Is it possible to retrieve it from auto save or backup files?

  • fm4fanAT thanks for the link, I learned much from that. Got my animation to move the way I want. Now I want my animation to shoot any direction say 0 - 180 degrees. I manage to have my animation shoot 360 degrees when the game starts and it stand still, but when it starts moving and I utilize my down key (D 90 degrees) it swings to 180 degrees and the bullet comes from the middle of the animation in the wrong direction, not from the point of the gun.

russellit Thanks for the input. I am a "Newby" and do not know anything about grouping. Perhaps send me a link to learn how to utilize it.

  • My Hero runs on a path into a bush trying to kill the enemy. When the game starts he moves immediately forward. I want him to wait for the player to start the game and he must be able to stop at any point to checkout before moving on. I am utilizing the FREE edition.

  • Thanks problem solved.

  • Are the turret hits limited in the FREE edition? I get ten (10) hits then my text box disappear.

  • Thanks Kyatric, I could not find what I actually intend to do but with trial and error I discover Pin to Object and that works perfect. I can now drag and drop my line to any point and then move left or right with the wheel of my mouse. That gives me the exact angle and with another horizontal line I can pin point the exact position of the ball. Thanks for all the other info, still try to figure out how to download and use it. My brain is now in top gear and I only think of games to develop.

  • I am developing a Golf game utilizing dices. Calculating the distance I want my Golfer/Player to draw a line from his position in the direction the ball travels. If this is not possible I am adding a grid to my background that helps a lot.
