  • Hi there,

Just use red and green blocks or whatever because we will replace all the images with 3D Figures and animation and made a great zombie style apocalyptic adventure out of that

Is there someone out there who can create us a template like this in construct 2?

We will pay for it if you want :) We realy need it :)

Artic Adventure :) Love the retro games.

Please drop me the details at krishijy@toonheart.com if this job is not already taken :D

  • Please respond with a sample of a program you have created using construct 2. Please also let us know the rate you will charge by indicating how much you would have charged for your sample program.

Pretty much writing 2 games in parallel as of now.

I figure an educational game would anyway be less strainful than that :)

I used to teach kids too, if that helps in understanding a educational game requirement better.

Might want to share some plan details at krishaju@toonheart.com ?

Price: Flexible depending on the work.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • This still Open?

  • I dont really see the point in building another angry birds game.

Can the world please "get over" angry birds ?

There are many other awesome games too.

Angry birds was a good game because of the world getting to mobile gaming and it was easy to play with just a pull swipe and watch things tumble.

But then, mobile gaming is going places and maturing very fast.. the need is to build better games that can use many user inputs just like on consoles/PC.

IMHO, if anyone is still building another angry birds.. its a good time to re-think.. unless of-course your game uses some different type of user interaction.

  • I'm gonna have to write this too in very near future.

If I am able to find a solution.. I'll add here... if you do .. don't forget to share :)

There are probably 2 kind of saves I need.

    1. When player dies in a level and has to "Retry"... I'd prefer he plays from a certain checkpoint of the game.. IMHO cookies is best way here

    2. When player quits the game and comes back .. he needs to see all his completed levels as DONE as well as be able to play the uncompleted stage from the checkpoint.

I'm sure saving some xml based info in a flat file would be easier than db (although, this is only for "installed" games) .. but I'm not yet sure how to access 'em via Scirra.

    Need to think.

  • Tutorial about ammo - It's on the floor in the first level. Not a popup because they are irritating, just text on the floor.

    I just realised I'm blind sometimes. <img src="smileys/smiley19.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

The text looked way cool like as if its something written on the futuristic lab floor... never thought of reading it.

PS. There are 7 levels now.

And you're saying this is early alpha stage development!

    You're mocking me.. huh .. huh .. huh <img src="smileys/smiley7.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

    <img src="smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

    This one rocks!

I'm half way done through my prototype.. I'll upload my WIP when I do some neat art.. right now using random sprites.

    Mine is set in past/present .. nothing futuristic like yours <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Nice game.

Couldn't figure out the last stage though.. made it to the end without having to deal with any obstacles... not sure if that's meant to be.

If only you could get rid of that Loading screen on every reload/restart of the level.

Eager to see more stages :)

  • Wondering how to get these kind of controls that are used in play.google.com/store/apps/details

I've seen games that hover a d-pad on one side, .. while some of them use tap anywhere to move the player.

This one has something special there, even if I tap behind the tank and say move a circle swipe.. the tank will literally turn a circle.

So its not like tank is moving in the direction of the touch.

Anyone has a idea how this works?

  • Nice.

I'll see if I can free up some time later this month and might wanna try this :)

  • One question. Why isnt it full screen? IMHO, would be much cooler that way.

Also, I'll try to play this on my 7'' tablet sometime later today. Works with touch?

Feedback: add a small popup tutorial somewhere near the controls to remind player that you can be out of bullets to select from here.

I like the way tank blows up .. looks very 2050-ish + how the wooden boxes seem to repel each other... is that physics and world with 0 gravity?
