  • I can sympathise, i actually wish i bought the business version at sale price.

That being said, its still unbelievably cheap for the quality of program. You can tell from the free version what your getting. Its worth every cent. :)

  • Filippileonardo :) well done! That was nice to play.

The effort you put into making the game smooth really paid off. I love the way the game teaches you the controls. The effects on the wand are great. The stage itself was pretty well thought-out. The music and sounds are good. Website presentation is awesome! 9 out of 10 for me.

My one criticism is the background elements. (Dont get me wrong, it looks really appealing, your placement of the objects is perfect) - however graphically it was a little too close to Mario bros for me, while the foreground on the other hand was very sonic-like.

Im guessing that time was the main reason for this, so regardless of my last comment - fantastic job! :)

  • It seems a lot more responsive now (sometimes it moves where you dont expect it to - but a lot more fun in my opinion).

    Good work.

  • Good job Geo - i hope this does well for you!

  • Thanks for sharing the Cap Rev, this is pretty good. Love seeing contra with a bigger resolution!

    Whats next?

  • I intend on making money with my games, I had better because I left university degree for it. Maybe it wont be a great amount but I remain optimistic.

  • Lol i was getting reversed on all day :)

I played until the time ran out, i like how you end it with the music. Pretty fun even at an early stage.

  • Wow, nice one Sunava it looks awesome tbh. Cant wait to see how it plays.

  • Good progress with all the extra's.

Love the insert coin, it would be funky if we could hear that familiar sound of a clunky coin going into the slot and dropping down when you start the game. :)

I have to say in this version the gameplay is a bit slower than the previous, the blocks that cannot be broken can make each stage go for a loooong time! (though this would be resolved if you could aim the ball a little more reliably - it feels like it just bounces regardless of where i have my paddle positioned).

  • Its DinoFUN! :)

  • How i envisioned families working was that you could create a complex behaviour system for an enemy. Once done you can just clone that enemy and he would act independantly of the first, but with the same logic. Is that how it is going to work?

Even in its early stage though it has enabled me to continue working on a complex tower defence style of game (after i finish this platformer of course!). With multiple enemies it was hard to always make them shoot at the closest target without long and complex targeting code, but now when i stick all the different enemies under the Enemy family i can easily code to aim at the nearest Enemy.

(probably could have already done this another way but it makes it easier!) :)

  • Basically, if you gain any money from someone elses creation without permission. Its illegal.

So charging people money to unlock tracks that you do not own the copyright to and dont have permission to use would be a big no no.

Though its my understanding that even if you werent making money at all from it they still have the right to tell you to stop, and then if you didnt it would be illegal again.

    I could be wrong.
