    Yeah the "button down" will continuously fire. What you want to do is add a system command --> Wait X seconds after firing bullet.

    So it looks like :

    On mouse down ->Fire bullet

                  ->Wait 1 second

    That way you will have a 1 second gap in between bullets. Speed of bullets is changed in the properties panel on the left when the bullet is selected.

  • Ah i see now,

    Your very clear that the left and right arrow move the player left and right but until you told me to read closely again I assumed I had to move the ball by clicking to either side of it, not using the left mouse button to tilt left and right mouse button to tilt right.

    With your tests with children did you just sit them down in front of it or did you verbally give them instructions first? (Personally i would have gone for a picture tutorial as opposed to wording).

    I only asked about the browsers because i thought something wasnt right :) after playing properly i like it. Always a fan of learning through playing games. Perhaps this taught me how to read better, lol :)

    There is a lot to like about this. The fact that you have the website is funny enough as it is - but the game is actually pretty good as well!

    Im not a big fan of mustard either... :)

    EDIT: imothep85 WTF!! LOL That video was possibly the most random thing i have ever seen!

    The music is perfect - no exaggeration.

    The game play is fun (though even after reading the controls it took me a min to work out how to move). The concept itself is awesome (very suited to the competition).

    The only thing i didnt like was the in-game text (are you using the in game text object?). Perhaps you should load in your text like a sprite.

    Looking forward to more of your work.

    I used Ie9 and chrome but I dont think it was working properly. I jump to the second platform and (uncontrollably) slide all the way to the end of it.

    There was a yellow block that sometimes would appear after i lost a life which i could move to tilt the ball further (still being trapped against the side wall mind you).

    Are you using FF?

  • Hey Dobandon, sorry ive been trying to give everyone input but there seems to be more coming out these days :)

    Honestly, I think the problem with your game is this:

    There is quite a lot of explaining to do to tell about the game, you will have to play to find out what each thing does, so mainly gather, build and survive on rotating circular world.

    I played the game on two seperate occasions, the first time having absolutely no idea what i was doing, the second time really trying to make an effort to understand.

    The game as it currently stands seems to lack objectives, -you run around, gather things, survive.... but why? Who are these enemy boxes and why do they want to kill you?

    You have some elements that do interest me : Upgrading and making things with the blocks collected. What I would do at this point would be to really focus on keeping the players attention (in the early stages) so they reach that point before getting bored.
