Congrats Mateus!
Those have to be the BEST EXAMPLES I have ever seen.
I am shaking on my seat at this moment, eager to see what other examples might arrive soon!
As mentionned in the 1st line of the documentation, there are two plugins to install. Make sure you have installed both.
Behavior: construct.net/en/make-games/addons/361/skin-behavior
Plugin: construct.net/make-games/addons/362/skin-plugin
Run in background works within the limitations of the C3 runtime.
When in background the time scale is set to 0 and it only ticks whenever the browser accepts to let it tick. Depending on the browser, this can happen around once a second.
You will need to work around that until a better solution is found.
Fixed, thanks for the report
Hey!
I finally added an example to this thanks to the help of Mateus.
Please check it out :)
Hi, sorry for the very late reply. I have been terribly busy lately, but I finally managed to get an example thanks to the amazing work of Mateus.
He made the example and provided it to me so I could share it here for free :).
Yes! With scene graph, I really think an attachable script system could be amazing.
Lately I've been experimenting with PlayCanvas a lot, and it has a very similar system that is also pretty powerful. The engine however is a mess to use and is infuriating to work with in the long run.
That's weird, can you maybe contact me through email at skymen75019 at gmail dot com
or through discord (I'm on the discord CC server, or using DMs at skymen#8098)
i'd love to look into the project and maybe find out why that happens
Pinkman was probably one of the first (if not the first) Construct game I bought on Steam, and it has definitely inspired me and my projects.
Mateus is a great dev :)
Hey, I don't think I do, but if you contact me on the Construct Community Discord server I can probably send you the C3P file :)
what a glow up
welcome to the world of devs and of streamers, you have now picked up two new hobbies to do whenever you want.
also, don't hesitate to make dumb small projects. Lately I've had immense fun spending like 4h in construct and just making something extremely simple that's even barely a game. Just a very quick dialogue system, or a weird platformer mechanic, or a proto for a simple dating sim. All of it with no preparation, and with everything hardcoded without anything smart in it because i'll never come back to it ever
(if you're not sure what I mean, here are two things I've done that's exactly that:
youtube.com/watch
youtube.com/watch )
A lot of the time, a weird idea I had and protoed in like 4h helps me weeks/months later cause I need something similar for another project and it turns out I already did it and I know how to implement it, even if it's kinda badly
Hey, for sure. If you ask on discord (I'm on the Construct Community Discord server) I'll do my best to help :)
Hey, this is probably a bug, it's supposed to get destroyed with it. Could you make a minimal reproduction example so I can take a look?
It's explained here in the manual:
construct.net/en/make-games/manuals/construct-3/tips-and-guides/installing-third-party-addons
Hi,
I am very busy at the moment with a lot of things, but I will keep in mind to do this at one point :)

Sometimes I do some cool stuff in Construct. Sometimes I like to talk about it.
